What is Hypnotherapy

“Hypnotherapy Explained”

Hypnosis is a very natural state. If you have ever been daydreaming, you have been in a hypnotic state. When you try to go to sleep and your in that state between being awake and being fully asleep where you can still hear what’s going on around you but you’re not awake and you’re not asleep that is a hypnotic state.

When a hypnotherapist has you in trance it feels very much like the this.

While someone is in a hypnotic trance they can hear everything that is being said, and even have the ability to reject suggestions that a given by the hypnotherapist. This is why you won’t reveal secrets, pin numbers, etc. Because even though you are in a hypnotic state, you still have absolute control over what suggestions you accept, and which ones you will not allow to happen.

The belief that a hypnotherapist can make you do things that you do not want to do is  incorrect . Those people that participate in the stage hypnosis do so willingly knowing that they are there for the audience entertainment and as such allowed themselves to do what the hypnotist suggests .

Hypnotherapy is very different to stage hypnosis.   The hypnotherapist structures the session around the clients requirements and desires so that a positive outcome for the client is achieved. The hypnotherapy session is carefully designed to deal with the client’s condition and is structured carefully to ensure that only those issues that the client wants to deal with are dealt with accordingly.
